Great news! Stay safe now lacey. How did you find her?
natc41
She's home!
PaulaK
If Lacey is still not back you really need to try contacting previous owner/rescue as they may have someone who Lacey knows who can come and help with the search. Has she been seen at all in the last couple of days?
PaulaK
You need to kepp calling all local dog wardens and kennels including Battersea in case she has been picked up. Also all local vets in case she is taken in to one of them
natc41
No we haven't seen her since she was near the house, hoping that she gets hungry enough to make an appearance. When we last saw her she was looking very healthy and unscaved from her travels.
PaulaK
any news?
natc41
We haven't tried that avenue yet but a dog behaviourist has given us some useful tips. Last night she did come out to my mum and sit with her but because she had no collar we couldn't attach the lead and she got spooked again and ran. But she is now in the local area to the home and we think she maybe be hiding during the day when its busy and moving at night when there are less people around. We are leaving the front door open when we are in, in hope she will walk in and run to her spot.
PaulaK
Natc41 is Lacey a new rescue? If so is there anybody available from where she came from (foster home? kennels?) that would come over to try to entice her back?
natc41
Sorry another update, we now know she is without her collar!
natc41
The reason we all need have those sleepless nights. Lacey some how with out ever walking the route has been in our front garden, my girlfriend thought she say her walking in the garden, we went to check see if it was her and he bark and unfortunately got startled by the torchlight and my knee jerk reaction to call her name, alass she ran again but was seen heading up a nearby road she loves to walk. The late night search is on and hopefully she will come out and home if not al least sleep in the front garden tonight to be woken up by us. She might be scared and unsure of her new home but at least she is calling it home. I hope to bring you all fantastic new tomorrow morning.

We have been walking over nrobury park all evening as that is her favourite spot and we did spot her near the young street car park, she is alive!!! She's still rather scared and a fence stopped us getting to her before she got spooked and disappeared into the shadows. The posters are up and we are hopefully to either her get her home tonight or tomorrow. Thank you everyone.
