- Other Info This boy is Identi chipped and has been taken to the vets who asked that he be left there. It has become apparent that the owner that he is registered to him sold him only yesterday (14.07.11) to people but he was sold with his female bassett hound. Apparently they have never been separated and now the orginal owner who is away on holiday is concerned.

- New owner has still not been located, he is now in kennels and if not claimed a friend of the person who put him on facebook will rehoming him. Will update a.s.a.p. Jan x

The found Basset along with the female Basset were sold to new owner on 14.07.11 and the date on the link you posted says 13.07.11. Up to now we do not know if the female is also missing. Jan x

- Have been alerted to this boy via Facebook and in contact with the person who looked after him and took him to the vet. He was found by neighbours. Keeping everything crossed his new family are found soon and he is reunited with them and the female Basset Hound. Jan x

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
