Had an update earlier from his owner, he is fine and just has bruising, nothing too serious, bit of weight loss which is to be expected. He is one very lucky boy and much loved by his family who can relax now, they have worked so hard since he sent missing and it paid off for them. Jan x

Not long received the following text from one very happy owner:

Hi Jan, we've just caught Max, he has been clipped by a bus, just on my way to the vets but he seems o.k. We want to say thank you so much for all your help, we would not have got him back if it was not for DogLost.......

So so happy to receive this text, family are off on their hols soon and it great they have got him back in time. Thanks to them for letting us know so quick and a big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped in the search and shared his details on Facebook.

Sending Max a hug and cuddle from everyone on DL and into the BLUE you go. Welcome home. Jan x

Waiting for friend to confirm the postcode that Max has gone missing in Stockport is normally an SK postcode, owner does not know the postode. Jan x

Just finished speaking to one of his owners who is out looking for him. He has gone missing approx 4-6 miles away from home. He was being walked by a friend and he slipped his lead. Owner's did sight him yesterday and he ran off. Have giveN advice on how to behave and some of the best times to go looking for him.

I'll do various size posters a.s.a.p. and have updated the DL poster. Jan x

Have had a few text from Max's owner now.

He was SIGHTED today in Vernon, Woodbank Park, Montague Road and Offerton Road area all in Stockport he is very scared and was seen running in traffic.

Have emailed advice to owner. Keeping everything crossed little Max is found soon. Good luck to his family, I will contact them tomorrow. Jan x

I've had a few replied from VivKing who actually registered Max on DL on behalf of his owner. They did see him today approx 6 miles from home, don't know the location yet. I've emailed Scenting Instructions and explained how to behave if they see him to VivKing and asked for the email to be forwarded to owner as too late to ring. Keeping everything crossed Max is back home soon. Jan x

Jan, the dog on the AW site found in the M34 area has now been updated as 'Reunited'

Shared on my FB page on also added to Tameside Animal Shelter and Millstream Animal Shelter as they take in strays.
