Hi, the woodland area has posters all through it, they have been put up on all entrances to the quarry, and they have been contacted also. I'm sending out more and more posters every few days to vets/kennels etc in a wider area (covering Barry and Abercynon incase the sightings were Bob) my in-laws are going to the woods regularly, but not daily, the bikers that use the wood have our details too. It's hard as I live in Northern Ireland so only so much I can do from here, am getting to a dead end now I think, not sure what else to do. (Mother-in-law contacting the rescues and pounds every few days).

Hi Helen, it seems to be the same advert, just completely diffrent phone numbers! As long as u've checked then , u know it isnt him! silly question, but is someone checking where he went missing every day? also has the area been checked incase he's fallen? and i would think the quarry men know about him missing? keep postering , as if someone has him u need to worry them, i know the place he went missing from, , was there people up there when he wandered off?

My in-laws have taken the other samoyed from Fairwater to Cardiff dogs home, he was quite old and in bad shape. Thankyou for everyones help, I do appreciate it xx

Hey, the samoyed on dog-oodle I have already sent my father-in-law to check it out as it was so close, but def not him! I can't find the ad on dogs and puppies though, can you send me the link if pos please?
bethgsd
Hi have searched the net for any samoyeds for sale in cardiff, 1 advert is a little suspious as two very diffrent telephone numbers.
1 Advert on dog-oodle n.o 07005984253
1 advert on Dogs and puppies.co.uk n.o 07043540681
Maybe worth a look!

Bob seen in the Fairwater area of Cardiff on the evening of 12th May 2011 at around 6pm. Very friendly. Wearing a light blue collar but with no identity tag. Seems in good health - not thin - condition of coat not good - is matted but other than seems ok. I think he may be in the Plymouth woods area around birdies lane which connects to St.Fagans He was in Cartwright Lane but followed some people down Birdies Lane and then walked back towards Bwlch Road. I went looking for him but couldn't find him. I couldn't go down Birdies Lane as the gate shuts at 7pm. I will look again for him this evening. Have left a message for the owner but no response as yet.

Had email today from a lady who saw a samoyed walking down the road on his own, had a collar on, this was in Pardoe Crescent, Barry on 5-6th May. Sending out more posters to vets/contacting warden and rescues in this area.
Helenemorgan
Had a phone call form a lady who saw newspaper ad today who saw a samoyed at bottom of her garden 2 days ago, this was Abercynon, after phoning all resuces and police in that area, discovered another samoyed had gone missing a few days ago but from the Pontypridd area, been up there today with more posters, think dog seen was prob not ours,as a good 10 miles away, but very coincidental! Word spread in the area just in case.
Helenemorgan
no still nothing, ad now in local paper this week and contacted more vets/rescues in area.
