So glad to hear this! Did the new owners never take her to a vet, though, and if they did then why wasn't she routinely scanned, then this reunion would have been much sooner! But at least it seems she was well cared for by her new family and am happy to hear that they have given her back without a fight. xx

Great news that Scarlett is home safe and sound and back where she belongs. Well done to her owners for having her chipped and making sure her details were kept up to date. Welcome home Scarlet! :)x

Scarlet has been reunited with her owners. She was being looked after by people who thought that they had genuinely brought her. Scarlet got out of an open gate where she was found by member of public and reported her to the dog warden where a chip was found with Scarlets details of her being missing since April 2011. So anyone's dog who is still missing that is chipped please remember to keep your microchip ownership details up to date. Welcome home Scarlet :-)

hi have you found your dog yet? if not it may be worth checking the local dog charities if you haven't already done so. mid sussex happy breed dog rescue are an example who often rehome dogs who have been found and assumed strays as they have not been claimed for what ever reason. i hope you find her.
