- I have not been able to post on this before as I was so upset, dear Molly Cara you never got to know how good life could be and give your humans a true OES cuddle - run free at the bridge & I know that big Angus will be there to look out for you xx

- I'm so, so sorry to read this. You're safe now - you won't be frightened any more. It's true - what Auntie Kate has said - our best friends never leave us. Jo xx

- Run free Molly Cara - look out for my Gertie who has gone with you to the bridge today - she looked very like you and was also scared and nervous. Cross the bridge together and look after each other until we can all meet again. xx
-----------------------
I stood by your bed last night,
I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying,
You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly
as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you,
I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here".
I was close to you at breakfast,
I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times,
Your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today,
Your arms were getting sore,
I longed to take your parcels,
I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today,
You tend it with such care.
I want to reassure you,
That I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house,
As you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you,
I smiled and said "It's me".
You looked so very tired,
And sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know,
That I was standing there.
It's possible for me to be,
so near you every day.
To say to you with certainty,
"I never went away".
You sat there very quietly,
Then smiled, I think you knew...
In the stillness of that evening,
I was very close to you.
And when the day is over...
I smile and watch you yawning,
And say "Goodnight, God Bless you,
I'll see you in the morning".
And when the time is right for you
To cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you,
And we'll stand side by side.
I have so many things to show you,
There is so much for you to see,
Be patient, live your journey out...
Then come home to be with me.

- 2011-04-03 23:53 Jacky
- Our beautiful Molly Cara...she had the most wonderful hazel brown eyes. She was a very scared girl, frightened of even a bird flying over her head. She must have been terrified wandering around, trying to get somewhere but nowhere. How can people be allowed to treat animals so badly until their spirit is broken beyond help. Although we didnt share your life for long, we loved you dearly. You will be very sadly missed, love you always x x x x x

- After going out to search, following a sighting of Molly heading up the 'W' out of Nailsworth I met the very kind owners of the Half way house pub who sadly informed me that poor little Molly had just been involved in a RTA and had not survived. I contacted Molly's owner's and Molly is now safe with them. Molly was not alone when she died and it was very sudden. My heart goes out to the poor owner's and thanks to the Landlord and his daughter and the vet in the pub for doing all they could for Molly. So sorry we couldn't bring her back safely. Andy xxx

- My husband saw Molly on his way up the 'W' to Minchinhampton Common from Nailsworth. I've contacted Jacky and she's on her way to look (the sighting was about 21.00hrs) Good Luck Jacky let's hope you catch up with her tonight. She's light coloured so should show up easily up there.

- Posters now up on cycle track between Woodchester (Selsley Road) and Sainsbury's. Friends in Nailsworth walking cycle track from Egypt mill towards Stroud and postering too, others out with flyers and their own dogs as Molly Cara may be more inclined to approach person with a dog. The cycle track provides a low-level easy path with lots of accessible water. She must be tired and thirsty in this weather...Last edited: 2011-04-03 14:11:42 by Pod

- Molly Cara sighted A46 near Nailsworth by Egypt Mill at about 9.30 this am. Person tried hard to catch her but she was extremely frightened and ran off. Please look out if using Stroud to Nailswoth cycle track. She is scruffy and may be limping....
