Thank you to everyone who has helped look for Trixie-you've all been wonderful.
Trixie was the dog that was sadly run over outside the garage, she was taken to Exeter by the highways agency. Such a sad sad outcome but as the owners have said to me at least there is closure and she can be laid to rest at home.

Am so sorry to say that Trixie has gone to rainbow bridge, i dont know the exact details yet but owners are on their way home from Exeter with her. Run free Trixie.Thinking of you Lisa and Jason, i know just how hard you tried to find her and get her home safely. xxx

still havent herd from the highways agency yet but she may have been mistaking for a badger, have contacted everyone in the local area and no one seen or has herd of a dog being ran over, have postered all the local shops pet shop and kennels, contact local media and radios stations.......

There have been reports of a dog involved in an rta on the a30 by Darcroft garage the morning after Trixie went missing. We'd like to try and find out any details at all to what kind of dog it was or who picked it up please if anyone hears anything.Highways agency has been contacted, waiting for a response and really hoping it wasnt Trixie xxx

Hiya, really hope you get some news of your beautiful girl soon. Keep checking the kennels, vets RSPCA etc. You could try leaving an item of your clothing near where she went missing to encourage her back there and poster poster poster and Keep your chin up x x x x

have been searching for her for the last 36hours, wistling and calling she got spooked and home and ran off totaly out of character, have contatced all the local dw vets kennels and police ect still no sign shes. have contacted and posted comments on facebook and contacted all local radio stations please if anyone sees her please call no matter what time thanks everyone
