- Lassie is 14 years old, her hearng and sight are beginning to fail and she has started to become confused at times. Unfortunately her garden gate was left open in error and this elderly girl wandered out on Friday. There have been no sightings of her at all since then. Owners have been out searching for her, left a message for the dog warden which they will follow up on Monday morning,contacted local vets and have been to the local stray kennels at Hoylandswaine and checked in person that Lassie was not there. I have advised them it is very important to poster as much as possible.Hopefully she has been taken in by someone and they will call the dog warden on Monday morning.
