Hi, yes I have looked at the one found in Hartlepool but unfortunate it wasnt Choc as he wasnt neutered. I am still trying to contact the animal warden re ravenette post but had no luck getting through to anyone.

So disapointed to have no news at all despite the media coverage. So much hoping for some good news soon. But very overwhelmed by people looking out for our little boy. thank you guys xxx

Any news on dear Choc? xxx
DogLostOwl
Wispa and I went to track Choc yesterday from his home outside Silkstone. Wispa got a scent leading from the property to some fields behind a farm about a mile away, and with the farmer's permission we continued to follow this trail. We lost the ground scent after a while, but the wind was in our favour and we got an air scent. We followed this all the way down a footpath to where we got ground scent leading into the village of Cawthorne. Eventually we ended up at the village cricket club which is surrounded by oak woods and adjacent to a stream. The scent there seemed very fresh, so posters and flyers will be distributed in the village, and the area searched.

Choc is microchipped and is wearing a collar and tag. His owners have contacted the dog warden service and local stray kennels and will be postering .
Hoping Choc is found very soon xxx

Just seen the field Spaniel that was found yesterday (26727). This is a black one though and should be listed as a cocker. The lady who found him saw the picture of Choc and thought they looked similar.

BUMPED as Choc is in the Huddersfield Examiner ! Still no news of this much loved boy despite his owners carrying out an extensive campaign to find him. Choc is out there somewhere and we just need someone who knows where he is to make one phone call either directly to his owners or to doglost head office to bring him home to his family.Last edited: 2010-12-01 10:09:20 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Saw one of the posters up at canon hall, and thought he looked like a dog at Springfield kennel, contacted owner who in turn called them, sadly not the right dog as the kennel dog was found in oct. Will keep eyes peeled and fingers crossed

Hi, I saw one of your posters in town yesterday and a member of your staff has given me a spare one. I have a Doggy Day Care Centre in Dodworth and drive through Silkstone every day so I will keep my eyes open. I have put a copy of your poster up in my Centre and I am also attaching one to each of my newsletters that go out at the end of this week. I have also posted a link to Chocs page on here as my Facebook status where I have nearly 400 contacts all living in and around Barnsley. I am also going to try ringing my friend who is Barnsley's Lost and Found co-ordinator and check if she has Chocs details on her system and to see if she has any sightings. If there is anything else I can do please let me know x
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
BUMPED due to a SIGHTING and another advert in local press ! A lady who has seen the posters has called Chocs owners with a SIGHTING of him on the day he ran off. This sighting was between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday 6th November. He was seen running across the bypass between Silkstone and Dodworth and he was heading in the direction of Dodworth. His owners are going to poster heavily in the Dodworth area and hopefully this will bring in more sightings of him.Following his advert in last weeks Barnsley Chronicle Choc now has an advert in this weeks Barnsley Independent which is a free paper and has a wide distribution. Hoping for more news of Choc very soon ~ Pam Last edited: 2010-11-16 21:49:12 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
no definite sightings of Choc since he ran off during a walk on Saturday. Owners have contacted the dog warden, vets and stray kennels and will continue to check with them. Some postering has been done already close to where he ran off and further afield but onwners will continue to poster. Choc could easily have travelled into the vast area of surrounding countryside. He is a very friendly dog and may have been taken home by someone and it is hoped they will call the dog warden to report finding him which you are required to do BY LAW and he will be reunited via his chip ! He will be in tomorrows Barnsley Chronicle ! Hoping to see this much loved boy back home with his owners very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-11-11 13:37:34 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
