Dougal is home YEAH !!! I've just got back in from work to email to say he is back. He was found by someone at 10.30 last night and they contacted Dougals owner. They are very relieved and glad he wasn't out in the horrible weather.
Welcome home Dougal. Thanks to the finders for notifying his owners.

Have rung for further details. The person posting is not the owner but helping as owner doesnt have internet. Dougal went missing on a walk which has now been confirmed as Denton woods which is an area at Ben Rhydding (nr Ilkley) towards the river. It runs parallel with the road. Owner has rung the police and local vet and the dog warden (though not confirmed which one) I am sending email with further advise and the dog wardens/stray kennels to notify and check. Dougal, thankfully is chipped and had collar and ID tag so fingers crossed that it is the case that someone has found him and is waiting for vets/dog wardens to open tomorrow to have him scanned etc. Keep safe Dougal xx
