Just to say Lucy was found in a front garden opposite the Church in Northey Ave. The finder had seen a poster which we had displayed opposite her house. Dear Lucy was just standing in her garden, a quick phone call and she was collected by her owner and taken home. Lucy is well and was very happy to be home. Thank you everyone for your help. We are thrilled to get our special little Greekie back home safe and sound.

LUCY HAS BEEN FOUND TWENTY MINUTES AGO.

Golf Club have a poster in their shop. Nescot or Nonsuch has not been done. Lucy has to be in the area where she was lost, I just hope she is hiding in a garden close by.

Also cross posted to RHU forum and alerts have gone out to people in the area on the data base there. Fingers crossed this little girl is found very soon.

Just looked this up on the map and came on to say did the gold club know ! Wytch has had the same thought, any local schools that would put the message out to the children
Wytch
Has Nescot and Cuddington Golf Club been postered? I will head over there lunchtime and check Nonsuch Park too. This has been cross posted to BIGGSD.Last edited: 2010-10-12 09:50:40 by Wytch

Thanks PaulaK & Jan S. I will contact The radio station as soon as get into the office.
No sign of her early morning. I will go to the area again this afternoon, I will poster through letter boxes to ask the residents to check their gardens.
Jan S
I've sent details on to everyone I can think of in this area and will hope to get around there myself today. I know local radio are usually unhelpful but surely in this terribly sad case they will help, has anyone asked ?
PaulaK
Epsom Canine Rescue know - I volunteer for them - busy mailing out poster to all contacts. Stay safe Lucy x

Fifty five posters put up this evening. Forty were put up during the day. Lost advert has been placed in the local paper. No sign of Lucy..... I agree Xenas Mum.....she must be close to home. It was difficult in the dark to check under bushes in the front gardens. I will be out at day break to search....before I go to work. Thanks Xenas Mum for your help. Epsom Canine Rescue will be contacted tomorrow.

I know the area very well but now live many miles away. Do hope that you will be able to poster Nonsuch Park, North Cheam and Stoneleigh.

Lucy is a greek rescue dog who has been with owner ( an older lady) for about 6 months. I have spoken to a few members on the rescue committee and Sarah will be getting the posters out and about . I have advised how to scent areas as smell will be crucila for this blind dog. I have suggested use local taxi firms who can pass messages to all drivers and keep a look out, local schools, refuse collectors, any one who can help keep an eye out as there have been no sightings since she went yesterday. Sorry to see Lucy is missing. Thank you for registering with doglost.A local co-ordinator will contact you as soon as possible. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope Lucy is safely home soon
