hello janey
This is just fantastic news,,who cares how it came about she is home!!! welcome home little precious x
AlisonH
Just got the full story. Owners went to Hemswell market yesterday and handed out hundreds of flyers. As a result they got a phone call last night from a guy (A) saying he had the puppy and he had bought it from a guy(B) for £200. Guy (B) said he took the puppy in exchange for an old car from guy(C). After that I lost the plot of the story. Anyway police are supposed to be investigating and are going to call the owners back tonight.

Puppy has been to the vets this morning as her breathing is a bit rasspy but vet says it's nothing to worry about.Last edited: 2010-10-18 14:34:16 by AlisonH

Thank you for your help Arborsette. This little one hadn't been given a name before she was stolen.

Your wish is my command ...posters e mailed to helpers in LN3,4,5,6
Mrs_B
Could I suggest details are circulated to volunteers in LN3, 4, 5 and 6?

Whilst these may not be as near where the dog was stolen from, people from all these postcodes travel up to Hemswell Market, so it would be worth making sure they were involved, and are postering vets etc.

Updated Facebook and shared again with latest info, Come on little one, show yourself again.
AlisonH
Owners already contacted vets in the area and are now working on surrounding areas. Please give your vets a poster if there is not one on display. All help really appreciated.Last edited: 2010-10-11 13:28:06 by AlisonH

I have called the owner of Hemswell market and he has given me the number of the gentleman in charge. Called him but had to leave a message am just waiting for him to get back to me.

I noticed this today - which has been in the Lincolnshire Echo. I know it's not the same one, but post it in case it's of any relevance in any way.

http://www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/news/Police-need-help-thieves-drive-bulldog-puppy/article-2730162-detail/article.html

The Lincolnshire Echo do seem quite good at putting "lost dog" articles in their paper, so it could be worth someone with sufficient details approaching them to see if they will publish something.Last edited: 2010-10-11 12:32:05 by Mrs_B

Thanks Jayne.
Owner has had a call saying that 3 young men with foreign accents were seen at Hemswell market trying to sell a puppy that looked like this one for £300 on Sunday morning. Unfortunately the caller didn't see the missing poster until today.Last edited: 2010-10-11 11:02:23 by AlisonH

Just driven over to meet owners and collect a photo of this little puppy. She is only eleven weeks old and needs to see a vet as she has a bad limp after being bitten by one of her litter mates. Owners do not have internet access. Posters have been circulated, vets contacted and authorities made aware. Can someone please put on Facebook as I no longer have an account with them.Last edited: 2010-10-10 18:36:34 by AlisonH
