Had a text update from Shadow's owner at the weekend: Got Shadow home for weekend, vet wants to give him more time to recover, he's going back on Tuesday for op on his leg..... xx

Owner has just phoned, we have been missing each other throughout the day. Poor Shadow has been kept in the vets. He found his own way back home and has lost half his body weight and has a broken femur on his back leg. He is on a drip and very very weak, he will need an operation a.s.a.p. vet needs to see how he is on Monday. Family are obviously distraught and will keep us up to date (thank you for getting back to us). I’ve passed on our best wishes for Shadow and will be saying a prayer for a speedy recovery. Now he has been found he will get the love, care and attention he desperately needs. Sending Shadow a gentle hug. Jan x

Thanks Scottie Lady, hope he is o.k. Left a message with owner for confirmation, we will move him into the blue when family reply. I did check him against a found in Halewood RSPCA this morning which I seen in the kennels the other day looks like his owner has contacted them. Keeping everything crossed for Shadow. Jan x

Shadow now on facebook. The Welsh STECS is aware of Shadow and lives about an hour away. Jen will be contacted by the rescue centres if they receive a Scottie.
