- Thankyou all for your help in tracing BO we really appreciate everyone's assistance. We've had a lovely weekend with long walks to the park and the beach and she's been thoroughly spoilt with huge roast chicken dinners. Took her for a vet check on Fri and she has a little weight to gain but otherwise has a clean bill of health which is great. She is happy to be home and my little bulldog is loving having his friend back. To anyone else struggling with a loss i'd say never give up hope no matter how desperate things seem. Just work really hard to make you're dog too hot to handle.xxx

- Have been out looking for Bo, cannot understand why she has never been sighted and now she is home.
Glad to know you are back home and safe. - 2010-10-08 20:25 Spindle
- Owners of Bo worked tirelessly, day and night trying to locate her. The call saying she was found today to me made my day. She was taken in by a local neighbour's teenagers and well looked after. They did not think to report it to anyone. On parents returns they immediately contacted local breeder about the found dog who put 2 and 2 together that it was Bo. She is none the worse for her little escapade but overjoyed to be back home!!! Well done owners for not giving up, and welcome home Bo. All will sleep well tonight. reunited photo on way to me very soon.Last edited: 2010-10-08 20:26:47 by Spindle

- Bo is on NFED and hampshire horsewatch message boards, crime boards and on their twitter and facebook pages so please keep her profile high as she is very widely publicised as missing. There have been no reports of any sightings from the highways, garbage collectors or local posties so she's out there somewhere.
- 2010-10-01 19:49 Spindle
- Thanks Lliana, dont think she would be making her way back. too far!! There have been no sightings or calls whatsoever on this dog. She has to be somewhere.

- Thankyou everyone for keeping BO's profile high, 3 radio presenters have been tweeted thanks to a lovely lady on the H & H forum and we're doing all we can to keep her profile high. We're going out later after dusk to keep searching. I'm sure she's hiding and she can't hide for ever. Come on Bo, there's a roast chicken dinner waiting for you.

- Talked to owner this moring. All authorities notified. Bo has only been with new owner 3 weeks so is going to be concerned and worried. Plesae watch out for this dog. Given advice and scenting instructions. Bumped due to media cover.

- This dog is a BULLMASTIFF surely...she's listed with the mastiffs, I heard of her missing from the rescue she came from, and I think this error won't help. I will cross post on FaceBook and some bullmastiff forums. Good luck.

- Ok Bo is now on Preloved and Gumtree and the Horse and Hound webbie aswell as these are all people who use the country and may come across her whilst hacking or dog walking.Last night I did a heavy poster drop in Highlands Road where one of the tracks we found comes out and for the first time in this exercise found someone who wouldn't put a poster up for me, so JD's news on Highlands Road you are very mean spirited and I hope all dog lovers boycott you. Am off to ring the rescue's again. Come on Bo where are you girl we need a helping hand here.

- I have done a google map search and the area she went missing in is predominantly rural so may explain why there has been no sightings. I think she is in the triangle between, Funtley, Honey Lane and Fontley Road which is all fields and woodland. Again there was no sign earlier and I am going out again later with a lady with a big bouncy dog who hopefully may flush her out. Does anyone know this breed, are they likely to stay local until found or are they more likely to just keep moving. She is very friendly and will approach anyone to say hello so I'm hoping some dog walkers will see her soon.Admin, do you have anyone locally who would be willing to come out and help us search ?

- Have updated colour to Red hamish. In our experience big dogs like mastiffs would have had 100,s of calls into police by now as non dog owners with children would be very concerned if this dog was wandering the streets. Its highly likely someone has picked Bo up...not physically but in a car...maybe they have reported her when they got home....ie to a different dog warden or police station? Remember they are not in contact with each other...also do check the out of hours dog warden service and the in hour dog warden services of surrounding council areas.....again not all communicate with each other.
- 2010-09-20 16:06 Hamish
- PS. Further to the post you will see from the photo Bo is red not Fawn and yes she is microchipped.

- Hello everyone. This is the most distressing time of my life I cannot believe she's gone. She went missing from Fontley Road in Titchfield on Sat evening about 6.30pm. There are lots of woods and fields at the back and may have covered a wide distance with Funtley to the side and Chichester, Portsmouth etc if she follows the land to the side of the motorway. I have contacted the dog wardens, local vets, rescue centres, police, neighbours, microchip company, insurance company.I've made posters aswell.Thankyou for your good wishes.

- Sorry to see Bo is missing. Thank you for registering with doglost. Can you please send a photo to admin@doglost.co.uk as soon as possible. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope Bo is safely home soon
