Spoken to Leigh Cats & Dogs Home today and he has now been rehomed. Good luck to him and his new family, have pleasure in moving him into the blue. Jan x

This boy was taken to Leigh Cats & Dogs Home on 1.09.10, spoken the them today and also last week, he has now done his 7 days. A family are interested in him who are experienced with Huskies. I have also spoken to jolucas (SHWA) who registered the details on DL. Once there is an update that he has been rehomed he can be moved into the blue. Jan x

Not had a reply from the email sent to Debbie Reynolds or Bessamour requesting the details and photo of Shadow. I have spoken to jolucas (southernshwa.org.uk) who registered this found Husky on DL, jolucas has received the email with photo of missing Shadow (thanks for forwarding it onto myself). It does not look like it is Shadow. In the email to Debbie Reynolds I did suggest putting Shadow on DogLost. Jan x

Thanks bessamour and Paula. I have emailed the details to Debbie Reynolds and asked if not Shadow can they register him on DL. Also sent a text to this found Husky's finder. Would be great if it was Shadow. Finder has been doing a brilliant job spreading the word. Jan x

bessamour, do you work for local rescue. As a volunteer for local rescue we have not had any reports on missing Shadow. Could the details & pictures of Shadow be posted on the Dogs Lost section of the site. Then we can keep our eye's out for this missing boy. All relevant departments were contacted by finder. Have passed the email on to finder.

I've just received an email from a Debbie Reynolds who lost her Husky, named Shadow on 23rd August. This is her email: Shadow a 2 Year old Siberian Huskey has been missing since the 23rd of August. He got out of the garden when workmen were taking gear backwards and forward. Despite searching for him in local area, we have notified the dog wardens, Leigh Dog home, Police, Pet Medics, RSPCA, Manchester Dogs home, we have heard nothing. Shadow was spoted in Swinton on the 26th by my son and my partner has been out searching for him but no luck. We are asking everyone that we can to keep an eye out for him. He is missed greatly and we are worried about where he may be, if he is eating, all the usual stuff. Please if anyone comes acros Shadow be gentle with him, he was badly treated in his past. We rescued him from Manchester dogs home. he is microchipped and has a id disk. Her email address is: reynolds.debbie64@yahoo.com I have no phone number. I do have 2 photos of Shadow.

No they aren't Nicola's. The 2 near me aren't missing, checked to see if found dog could be one of the 2, as they have done disappearing act a few times & been returned to owner. Have spread the word with a few dog walkers, but not had any reports of a missing Husky. This boy was found very local to me. If he was first sighted Lilford Park area, he could have come across fields from Atherton or Tyldesley area.

Did you get any reply from Nicola who has lost two Huskies that DL Helper Pod (on your original registration) and Glynafon have posted contact details for? I did check with Leigh Cats & Dogs Home today to see if any had been reported missing. Jan x

I did have a call from someone today who had lost their husky. She sent me a picture and but they are not the same dog. Nearly identical but slightly different face markings. No other updates. Sorry. Have cross posted to face book and have asked for them to cross post with my details. I have my fingers crossed.
