Hope Kito is found SOON. All xd. Viv As for too far away, you never know, albeit this an exception. In 2009 a 17 year old Border Collie Lucy went missing from her home in Cornwall, and was found 500 miles away in East Lothian 4 months later safe and well. She was reunited via her microchip. How she got there? Who knows.

Kito has some publicity starting today. He's being advertised on a Digi van which will travel an estimated 300 mile round trip whilst playing a video screen appealing for help throughout towns and cities in the region Kito disappeared. Good Luck, I hope it brings some news.

No response to personal facebook post :( Does Kito have a facebook page of his own? I'd imagine so but if not, I'd make one and circulate it as far and wide as you can, will help in anyway with publishing it if someone can give me a link x

Will facebook post and alert friends in the area, if you need help postering further afield just give me a shout. We have a rhodesian cross staffy with a very similar face, absolutely heartbreaking. Paws crossed here for you xxx

Lizzy, the RR at Faith Rescue is so alike but Kito has a distinctive white mark on his chest.

I live in Stafford 10 mins away from Rugeley and have been asking other dog walkers to keep a look out. As you probably know people are good in letting you know when they have seen another ridgeback. I also know some dog trainers who have ridgebacks and attend the Manchester show i will ask if they will display a Kito poster. However fingers crossed the post before this post is Kito. Good luck

I have phoned the owners to make suggestion re putting posters up at the Champ Dog Show with it taking place next week. The place will be packed with Ridgeback owners on the Thursday so I hope somebody might know something. Fingers crossed that Kito is found safe and well very soon. Hope it helps :0(

As he went missing in Staffordshire, is there any point in sending some posters to Manchester Champ Show organisers and asking them to put them up during the show, since it takes place in the Staffordshire County Show Ground, Weston Road, Stafford ST18 0BD? Show is on from 20th to 23rd January. Hound day (ie Ridgebacks is on 20th) Just a thought as they would reach lots of "eyes" that way?

A RR male was found today in Walton-on Thames. He is being kept at kennels run by

From Missing Rhodesians Facebook page He is called KITO. 9yrs old. He went missing from our farm nr Rugeley in Staffordshire on 7th August 2010. He is microchipped, doesnt wear a collar. He is neutered and has white C shape on the front of his chest. We are offering a reward for him. Thank you so much for your help. He is extremely well missed. Jenny xx
