Sorry to hear Beau is still missing :-( I'm not anywhere near the area but wondered if posters are being torn down, if you could ask a local paper to cover the story and offer a reward for his safe return? Really hope he's found safely soon. Angela (are there meant to be two different photos as they both look the same to me).

Thanks Corina, we have had another positive sighting over the weekend on Redbank fields. If anyone thinks they have found him then either telephone us or PC Woodley 13178 on 0161 872 5050. He was seen with a teenage boy sometime between 6pm and 8pm. All vets in the area, as well as PDSA Manchester have been notified.

Just wondering if there have been any recent positive sightings of Beau. I keep driving round looking for him whenever i can. I've mainly concentrated around Redbank field / Tesco Express and Ainsworth Road area. Wondering if there had been any sightings elsewhere or other areas you'd like me to try. Also just to let you know haven't given up helping you look for him. Also a thought, if Beau will need treatment have you checked with local vets to make them aware and see if they can scan any dogs that come in that fit his description and ailment - don't know how obliging they'd be but may be worth making them aware of him.

Will put on twitter + circulate.

Is half pleased to say that following several sightings of Beau with two teenage boys, that the Police have finally taken up the case and he is now being classed as stolen. Still keeping fingers tightly crossed, just very worried about his skin condition now. Hopefully whoever has taken him will have gone to the vets and not let him suffer. :o(
Sashabeau
willowtreemum, do you remember the time of day that you saw him? It may give us a better idea of when they are taking him out. Many, many thanks x
Sashabeau
Thankyou Willowtreemum, we have had several reports of him being around this area, but we never seem to find anybody who knows anything when we go up there! Thanks to everybody who has helped so far, especially Corrina,(benjielad) who has gone above and beyond!

Just remembered - I DID see this dog last week or the week before outside the new Tesco Express In Radcliffe with a couple of teenage lads so hopefully he's still local - I will ask about ( I have teenage children ) and see what I can find out , everyone knows somebody who knows somebody else so lets see if we cant find this boy for you :)
Goldenfrodo
Thanks Sue. Fingers crossed he's home soon.

Beau is in The Countryman's Weekly magazine today. Good Luck

Hi - I live on Redbank field itself and can see most dogs as they visit the field , if you haven't already found Beau , I can keep a lookout in this area for you - he does look familiar and I'm pretty sure I've seen him recently here !

Positive sighting of Beau on Redbank field. A lady who knows him well spotted him with two teenage boys and asked where they had got him from. They answered that they had had him for ages, but this lady knows it was Beau. However, as she is elderly, she could not take it any further. Rang police and they weren't interested, and all posters in that area have been torn down in what seems to be a deliberate attemt to conceal him. Any advice on what we should do next? Thanks
Sashabeau
Possible sighting on Redbank Field, Radcliffe, playing with children. David and friend off to scour the area. Fingers crossed!!!!!
Goldenfrodo

We have had two sightings of Beau around the canal area of Ainsworth Road/Victoria Street. If anyone lives near here please keep an eye out for him. Many thanks
Sashabeau
Hi, Beau went missing from King Street on Hollinghurst estate. We had a reported sighting of dog fitting his description in the Outwood Road area. Searched but no sign as yet. If this area is anywhere near you we would be grateful for any help you can give. There is also a reward for his return. He is a very distinctive dog, we are not aware of any other irish blue staff of his age in the area. Many thanks x
Benjielad
Hi I've only just registered on here so new to this. What part of Radcliffe did he go missing from. I live nearby and will have a drive around and keep a look out for him.
Goldenfrodo
Sent Beau's details to contacts in the area. Hope he's found soon.
Sashabeau
I would also like to add that if anyone has taken Beau dishonestly, while he is priceless to us, will be of no value to you. Beau has a hereditary skin condition and he CANNOT BE BRED FROM!!! This skin condition requires treatment twice a week, in the form of a shampoo which can only be obtained from a vet, and is therefore expensive in the long run. Without it his skin would become very dry and start to crack, leaving him open to infection. Please consider this if anyone has taken him dishonestly. Thanks

Hi, I’m sorry to hear Beau is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
Sashabeau
Please, if anyone can help me find our dog I'd be eternally grateful. My children are devastated.
