It is now Over 2 months since we lost our little dogs. We still miss T.J.dreadfully and we are afraid he is slipping away from peoples minds even though we keep on with the posters etc! Chas is not doing very well I am afraid his legs are not healing as well as we had hope - he is going back to the vets next week for another operation - he is losing weight again as he not eating well and I am afraid very listless - it breaks our heart watching him..... if only we could find little T.J. I am sure it would speed up his recovery. Please keep on looking for T.J.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi at last I found your page. A few years ago I rehomed 2 cats to a very good home, after about 6 weeks the new owners did some diy to the house and the cats escaped. To cut the story short the owners contacted me and I got 1 cat back within 2 weeks. However the other cat had got accross a main road and got lost. Although he was still close by the road had confussed him.It took a few weeks but we got him. Are there any main roads in your area because that will really confuse your dog. Also it is important to know whare the first dog was found. All the best. JustineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Harvey's mum for you kind message. We are still desperate to find T.J. Chas is very unsettled and keeps pining! We have had some calls from people around Sedgebrook and Allington informing us of sighting of a similar looking dog, but nothing has proved fruitful as yet. The garage owner near to where Chas was found on the A52 at Sedgebrook says he saw two Jack Russells playing in his paddock just before xmas, which we assume must have been them! but he did not inform anyone. Obviously there is a possibility someone may have picked him up. I'm at a loss now as to who else to inform of where else to check. Many thanks anyway for keeping your eyes open, appreciate your help very much.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to hear your story, I've just got an emailed poster of TJ, unfortunately I don't get to check the site as I used to when Harvey was stolen back in August, but I do keep my ear to the ground. I live in Newark and I'm based in Grantham for work, the nature of my job means I travel the roads of south Lincs each day and visit peoples homes so I will be vigilantly keeping an eye out for TJ on each journey. Hope all is well with Chas and good luck with your search! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant News! That should do the trick! Look out for us nationally on Wednesday on GMTV-spreading the word to get more people checking out the site and more importantly the dogs on the site.Wishing you luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Chas will be appearing on Central News Today. A news reporter came over the weekend to do a piece on Chas and his survival story, but also in the main hopes of appealing to the public for more information about T.J. who we are still desperately looking for and Chas is very much missing. We have been out searching every day. We had a call to say that one dog had been run over near where Chas was found, but when we went to investigate it was not T.J. but another dog that lived nearby! No one seems to have any sightings of T.J. Let's hope the broad cast on the news may jog some peoples memories.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We had the local newspaper come yesterday to do a report on Chas's miraculous ordeal and how has survived, they have also taken a picture of T.J. in the hope that we can appeal to more people if they may have seen T.J. The paper comes out tomorrow. Fingers crossed for some good news.xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you everyone for your kind messages. We have been back to where Chas was found and put fliers through most doors of the villagers there, despite intensive searching still no sign of T.J. Chas went through a 5 hour operation today - vet thinks he has been trying to get around with broken legs for the last 9 days, his bones have been quite worn down!! He really is a super dog cannot believe he is still with us. Two young boys think they saw T.J. in a playing field where we found chas, so we are really concentrating on this area, we think he may be looking for Chas.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, just wanted to agree that the posters really do work! We got Jet back after a month when a lady who had seen a poster phoned to say the RSPCA had removed him from her garden 10 days before-through a lack of communication (!) nither the RSPCA or the dog warden let us know! Can I also advise you to personally check rescue kennels in your area-we had phoned the RSPCA during this period but were told they hadn't got him. Good luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Chas & T.J's Mum, I'm relieved for you that Chas has been found but I'm sorry you weren't reunited under happier circumstances - I'll keep everything crossed that he makes as quick a recovery as possible! Thank goodness the lady took him to the vets - there are still some very kind and caring people out there. I wish I lived nearer to help (I'm in Surrey) but I'm convinced T.J. would have been with him and hopefully will still be in the area. Plaster the immediate and surrounding areas with posters, THEY REALLY DO WORK!!! The best of luck in finding T.J. and in Chas's speedy recovery.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Today we found Chas, about 3 miles from where we live, he had been runover and a kind lady had picked him up and took him to the vets. He has a severe broken leg and pelvic damage and is very traumatised. We expect he has been living rough for the last 11 days as he is quite emaciated as well. The vets says in time he should be ok, however we are not sure if we can save all his leg. Chas was pleased to see us despite his traumatised state, he will be spending some time at the vets. Our main concern now is for T.J. who is the smaller of the two dogs. Although T.J. is more astute than Chas he is not as well built. Tomorrow in the light of day we will concentrate our efforts of searching in the area where Chas was found which was in the village of Sedgebrook just of the A52. T.J. is the main dog in the picture who is looking towards the camers. Lets hope and pray we find T.J. soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
