Woo Hoo... I am very very pleased to say that Sasha IS now safely back with her foster carer's. She had been with her finder all night and all day today while the finder was waiting to get contact details from the vets.......took a long time to get them passed on!! We don't know where the story of the RSPCA came around, i think the old owners just got a bit mixed up :( All that matters is that Sasha is now confirmed safe and back at home with the family......let's hope she stays safe from now on!! Big hugs to all the family and Sasha, what a day it is has been! xxx

Ok after a very confusing night of chasing authorities, Sasha is still not home! Fosterer went to collect her from the fireman who had took her in but the police station was closed and the fireman had gone off shift and took Sasha home with him. Fosterer was told that she would be given all the firemans details and that she could collect Sasha this morning, so we thought Sasha would be warm and looked after somewhere. Rescue got a call off old owner late last night saying that RSPCA had been on to them and that Sasha had been handed in to them...... so off went the fosterer to get her, armed with incident number...handover forms etc.....RSPCA now saying they dont have Sasha..... Rescue have called dog wardens and councils but cannot trace her anywhere! We know that it is an authority that have her but don't know which one?? Fosterer is going out of her mind with worry, Sasha is a very nervous girl and will be so confused with all of this, she is scared of her own reflection bless her :( Is there a local co-ordinator who can help here please?

HOLD THAT CALL........ SASHA HAS BEEN FOUND. A fireman had took her in :)) WOO HOO..... I know her foster mummy and she was distraught  :( Stay safe now Sasha xxxx Straight into the blue :)

At 3p today (30/3/10) Sasha our GSD cross puppy was out walking with her foster family and dogs in the woods when something spooked her and she bolted back struggling and slipping her lead/collar, then running off.. Her foster family have been out looking for her and one has come back to notify us. Dog wardens have been notified, local police, vets and authorities. A search party is being formed now also.
The area she was is:
Clent Hills (national Trust property) Stourbridge, Worcestershire.
The dog warden has said at 3.30pm she was sited near a bypass edge and seen bolting back into the woods area. No sitings since,Please please cross post this onto every forum, fb where you can to help us find Sasha. Though she slipped her collar and lead she is wearing a harness also.
If anyone in the area localy can help with the search, please do so.
Help us find her, she is a pup almost 6 months old and a very scared pup as it is, she will be terrified. Sasha is a rescue dog in foster. She is under the rescue RACR. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO CATCH HER, SHE IS A VERY NERVOUS GIRL AND WILL BOLT. PLEASE RING EITHER OF THE CONTACT NUMBER ASAP IF YOU SEE HER. Sasha is GSD X HUSKY.
