Chuffed to bits to be moving Sasha into the BLUE.  Spoken to Jo who is absolutely happy they have got their girl home.  Power to the POSTERS working their magic once again.  Well done to Jo and family for working so hard, it has paid off for you.  A big THANK YOU to the delivery man for taking the time to contact Jo after seeing posters.  When Jo first seen Sasha she ignored her, hubby joined her and eventually Sasha recognised who they were and went over to them.  Into the blue you go Sasha lots of hugs and kisses.    Jo and family are going to stay on as helpers with DL which is great new.  Thanks Jo.  Jan x    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

19.35 p.m.  Email from one very happy owner: Please can you update the following? Also, how do i change status to Found?
SASHA’S HOME!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
A delivery man spotted her in a field about 6 miles away after he’d seen one of my posters.   She’s absolutely filthy but fine. She’s had something to eat and is now fast asleep.   We’re emotionally drained but over the moon as you can imagine.
A very BIG THANKYOU to you all for your kind words, advice, encouragement and support, it helped enormously.

Please would you kindly update the comments field for me?
'There have been three more confirmed sightings of a border collie fitting Sasha's description today.
The first sighting - just inside the entrance to Oulton Park circuit, yesterday morning (22nd March)
The second sighting - outside a farm on Park Road heading towards Little Budworth village around 1.15-1.30pm also on 22nd March. The third sighting - this morning (23rd MArch) around 9.30am near the Boot and Slipper pub in Wettenhall Village.   I got this information just after mid-day today and have spent the whole afternoon searching a 4-5 mile radius of Wettenhall with the assistance of two great friends. We have put up/handed out posters and spoken to lots of people who will hopefully spread the word and help  us find her. JxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

'Thank you to Jan, Shirley and Barbara for your support and help so far. I have spent the day postering with a vengeance within a 4-5 mile radius of where we live but think I need to widen this search tomorrow. I have put posters up at all the road junctions leading into our area as well as local post offices/newsagent/community and parish notice boards/local dog groomers and garden centre. I have rung round all the local vets and notified the microchip company. All our friends and neighbours are on the lookout too. Everyone has been really helpful including our postman who has taken some posters to put in the local sorting office. I have spoken to local Homewatch co-ordinator who has put Sasha's picture on their website and e-mailed some of his colleagues inc local community police officers. I had a lead this evening about a possible sighting near Oulton Park. Someone saw a muddy border collie this afternoon near Oulton Park. They tried to catch it but it was frightened and ran off in the direction of the Egerton Arms in Little Budworth. They were not aware of Sasha's disappearance until this evening when they mentioned it to someone I know. I immediately drove over to the area but it was 8.30pm and dark. I drove up and down the roads for about an hour but to no avail so I put up some posters in the village and left one in the local pub, The Red Lion. I will go back first thing tomorrow when its light. Can't bear to think of her all alone and scared so far away from home. I'm tearing my hair out!! Must stay positive. Jx'
Thanks

17.50. p.m.  Thanks Shirley you are a star. Spoken to owner and given advice of immediate places to contact, they are going to ring Petlog a.s.a.p.   Sasha has wandered from their home, she has done it before but has returned.  The area is rural and owners have started postering and spreading the word.  Photo is being emailed to myself shortly they had problems uploading on themselves.  Further info/advice will be emailed back to owners.  Fingers crossed once the posters start getting in the right areas or after the weekend when the Council offices open family will get the call they are waiting for.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jo, sorry to see Sasha is missing, we will try and contact you a.s.a.p.  Thanks for registering her details, we will do all we can to help you in your search. Please upload a photo or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 22511).  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed once photo/s have been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).   Great she is chipped, if not already contact the Chip Co and report him stolen/missing and check your details are up to date.  She may end up in kennels dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is  found soon.  Good luck.  Jan  xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
