Thanks for the text Mel and for helping Jakeys owner with advice and local info xx. Wow brilliant news and just what i like to see, over to the blue nice and quickly. Thank you to the kind person who was looking after Jakey and once again it is the posters that have helped his owner to get him home safely. Stay safe from now on Jakey. Wooohooo!!  Jakeys owner has contacted me to say that Jakey is home.  He put a poster up in his car and someone saw it, and it turns out that someone had found Jakey and was looking after him!   Fantastic news!

I have emailed Jakey's owner a copy of the poster, he has got 200 copies printed ready for distribution.  I have also sent him contact details for Plantation Dog rescue who are York based. Xposted Jakeys details to Staffyclub.com, Pet Forums, RHU, RAFA, Dog Pages and the Refuge. Emailed Norther SBT Club, Plantation Dog Rescue.  Will also email all the vets and pet businesses in the York area that I can find! Also emailed Selby Dog Warden (just in case) and other Yorkshire based rescues. Fingers crossed for Jakey to be home soon. Melxx

I have spoken to Jakey's owner via facebook, this is where is discovered that Jakey was missing. His owner has created a facebook group for him which is here http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=375510764659&ref=mf I have given owner basic information, he has already informed DW, Vets. Jakey IS chipped and the chip company have been informed and owner has also been out searching. Local RSPCA where Jakey came from last year have also been informed. Jakey needs a special diet and can become ill if this diet is not followed and so we need to find him and get him home safely where he can be looked after. Jakey was wearing his collar but it was new and so his ID tag had not yet been put on. He IS neutered. Have advised owner to POSTER POSTER POSTER like crazy and also explained the 7 day rule. Owner has contacted the DW daily. I have spoken to local co-ordinator Gilka who will making contact with Jakey's owner as soon as this page is active and i have forwarded the details to her.
