She may actually have been stolen and released or escaped and found her way home eventually. 10 weeks is just too long to believe a dog could survive underground.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sophie has been found, unbelievably, nearly 10 weeks since she went missing with Sam, and has been found only about 200 yds from her home, underground, on a bank of trees and roots. She was barking when her owner heard her. Owners dug her out and didn't realise it was Sophie at first. She is very thin and is now at the vet, on a drip. It is so hard to believe she has been underground all this time, and if so, I wonder if it is a record. She may have been further afield and has managed to find her way back home.We just don't know at this point, and WHERE IS SAM??? I hope Sophie survives and gives some clues to where Sam may be.Last edited: 2010-04-15 15:29:39 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland
