It seems like Stella has been trapped in the forestry in the deep snow all this time .She must have survived by eating snow as she is extremely thin. Now that the snow had gone done a bit (before this new lot of snow arrived  2 days ago) she must have managed to get free from where she was trapped, and by a miracle, she was spotted crossing a country road by her owners, who thought it was a deer, at first but on second glance thought it was too small for that. UNBELIEVABLY - it was Stella. This is a miracle if there ever was one to survive all that time in temperatures of minus 20c at times. However she is cosy at home now lying next to the radiator, and getting all the TLC she deserves. Welcome home clever little lady  and PLEASE STAY SAFE NOW xxx.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a wonderful surprise to see Stella is home and safe. I will be giving owner a ring this morning to get the details. I was beginning to think the worst, as the weather was so horrendous up in that area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, I don't know the exact area of Keith but the owner told me it was still knee high with snow in that bit of forestry and they could not get in there to look very far. Call her on 07785 548218 if you want to help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree Shereen. This wee dog was kept outside in the barn and it has been minus 20c in that area at times lately. I cannot bear to think of her out in that level of cold weather.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It seems that Stella had wandered off into the snow in nearby forestry. She has not been seen since. The snow is still very deep up there. DW has been informed. I hope she is still out there somewhere safe, waiting for her owner to come and get her. Poor wee girly -where are you Stella?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
