Just a quick update William is home now he is very very thin vet gave him strong painkillers and antibiotics .His back legs are barely strong enough to lift him its really sad but he is adamant that when he needs to go its not going to be on puppy training papers its this kind of determination that's kept him alive for 33 days . Thanks for your kind and healing thoughts they are much appreciated.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So very happy for you that William is home. I agree about the vet, I wuold also think twice about her and probably would have given her a good piece of my mind but as long as he gets better that is the most important thing. Sending good thoughts and prayers to William for a speedy recovery. I know you want him home with you as soon as possible. Great news though. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I hope William gets better soon and is back home as soon as possible for some tlc and yes people are right as long as the vet makes him better that is what counts, but i think i would seriously think about changing my vet as soon as this is all over as i think she was irresponsible saying that to you and not being more understanding after everything you have been through, get well soon William hugs and kisses for you xxx

Thanks to everyone who cares and for every thing you have done to help us I am eternally grateful.William was found in the area we have been looking in he is totally emaciated and not very well at all he has been kept at the vets on treatment, hope tomorrow brings better news. The vet has told us in no uncertain terms how irresponsible we are for letting William in the garden without supervision I am absolutely gutted, but as long as she makes him better that's all that counts . Thanks once again .Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi William is still missing thanks for all your support,I am really shocked at the amount of dogs that go missing and feel for all those owners out there who have lost their best friends.Keep looking friends dont give up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to mum of owner and she told me William is still missing. There had been sightings of a dog reported and checked out but it wasnt William. He has been reported to dog warden/police and also RSPCA.  Am emailing info re rescues/kennels  to check and suggested they contact dog wardens bordering the local one and ask if they have had any similar dogs picked up by them -- and stressed the importance of getting LOTS of posters up in case he has been taken in by someone. The picture isn't a recent one and William does now have a grey muzzle. I hope this gorgeous boy is found and back home . Helen xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
