Great to hear this little girl is back home. We would love to know the reunited story. Thanks Capote for posting such good advice on Megan's page. It's so helpful when owners who have gone through a similar experience can share their 'expertise' with others.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please please don't give up hope we had our dog stolen recently and Doglost posters bought her home. Poster poster everywhere even consider offering a cash reward I know this is awful but it got us a result. An intensive postering of your area also prevents the thief from being able to sell your dog on easily. Can a local paper also perhaps carry a large advert with photo for you. Thinking of you I know how truly awful this is.
Can you also see if there is CCTV footage of the store and parking outside Tesco's so you can get an ID of the thief/thieves and if they have one their car registration. Make sure you get the store and local police onside - insist if you don't already have one on a crime number if you have CCTV footage you have evidence of a crime.  Fly poster people leaving Tesco's and place flyers under the parked car window screens even ask the people who clean cars in the car park, someone may have seen something suspicious. Put on posters she is on medication theives don't want a sick dog on their hands.
Hope you get your darling girl home soon.

dave1065, I'm so sorry to hear that Megan is missing. Postering is the key and one of the most important aspects of bringing our missing dogs back home. Believe us, you really can't have too many posters! We would advise at least 100 for starters and 200 is preferable. Poster: all local pubs, schools, cab offices, takeaways, local sorting office and all posties, supermarkets and supermarket car parks, parks, vets, petrol stations, the dog warden service and Battersea Dog's Home. I will try to contact you this evening but, in the meantime, good luck in finding Megan and make sure she is the best known and hottest girl in town!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I?m sorry to hear Megan is missing. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets, local rescue centres, etc (I will post a fuller list later). Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars, etc. If your dog is microchipped please let your company know and at the same time check that all details held and up to date.
You can only print posters when you are signed in.Get postering now?.. WE CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS.
I will try and make personal contact with you soon but in the meantime get postering and good luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
