Hi Kim, why don't you look at the Valgrays border collie rescue place, where Shirley helps out?  They have a few collies in at the moment, take a look http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/newdogs.htm MichelleLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

After checking with the dog warden, he confirmed this girl was claimed....so obviously not meant to be this time Kim. Shame for you, but there will be another along soon I am sure who you will be able to offer a fab home to. Spoken to Netty and have let her know, and also will keep an eye out for any Collie type bitches in kennels/rescues etc looking for forever homes and let you know of anything possibly suitable. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have contacted the dog wardens via the number Jo texted me, and after a while of being passed around was told the dog had been claimed by its owner. I then phoned the poster phone no. and spoke to Jane who was unable to get onto her computer due to a virus, so i called Jo but got voice mail left a mesg and waiting for her to get back to me to confirm if this is correct, and if so can then move this lady over to the blue. Sorry Kim if she has been claimed i know you were keen to maybe give her a home. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am crying again, at your kindness!  Guess I'm still a bit vulnerable to tears.  Thank you. x I tried to phone the number we were given for dog warden, but they say they don't know what we are talking about.  They only have two dogs and its not this one.  Very strange.  Will try something else to see if I can trace her. Thank you so much Shirley.  I will do both!  Maybe we can get Cassie a sister?!  We'll ask Cassie to help us! :-)  Ohh, if I get too excited, I can't think! :-)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Kim, if you want to see her you would need to log into this site, then phone the 'poster phone' number that will appear in this dogs section.  I suspect they will be too busy to check up on her page on here, so please phone them if you would like to view. Also please check out Valgrays site if you are looking for another rescue collie.  We have 2 blue merles due in who would be very different looking to your dear Cassie. http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/newdogs.htm  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have been asking around about this one but no luck. I have asked my niece who is a teacher at Leventhorpe school in Sawbridgeworth  to spead the word that one has been picked up by the dog warden last night. It may be the same one that was in Harlow when we were looking for Cassie, Kim and i tried to catch her, she came within a couple of feet from me and ate nearly a whole giant tin of chappie, but bolted as soon as could. Kim may be interested in having her when she has done her time, if not claimed, have text her to let her know about her. Has she gone to old harlow kennels?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
