Email from K9searchuk We are pleased to say the owners of the Airedale Terriers found in the West Midlands have been located.  Penny 6 years, Max 10 years, disappeared on a walk in Rotherham, South Yorkshire on 05.01.10.  They managed to get onto the motorway, where they were picked up by a driver who drove home to Dudley and handed them into their local police station.
Weather conditions both here in the Midlands and South Yorkshire will mean Penny and Max will remain at kennels until owners can collect.
Everyone knew that these dogs were not your typical abandoned strays and everyones efforts over the past few days has paid off. Brilliant news, thanks K9searchuk for letting us know the situation.  A big 'THANK YOU' to the finder for looking after them and everyone else who has been involved in reuniting them back with their family.  Great they stayed together.  Hugs and kisses.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The two Airedales, one male, one female, were found on the motorway by the West Midlands police. They appear to be in good condition.  Both wearing purple collars and have been recently clipped. Contact Jennie on 07988 433 187 for more details   Valerie                  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
