DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF EMAILING OUT AND CROSS POSTING CAN POSTS PLEASE BE PUT ON JILL'S PAGE ID 21276 As there are three pages it can get confusing going between the three and we do not want anything important being missed.  ThanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I hope you get news of these 3 soon...have you tried the local gypsy liason officer or indeed putting up a flyer outside local jobcentres as these are a good place for people to get info from people visit these places once every 2 weeks to sign on. Have a try you may get a call or maybe some info. Good luck :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jan asked me to put downloads onto my website so they could be accessed by all .. so please, if you wish to download photos (they are in .jpeg format on my site) please go to this link, then click on type of poster you wish to download ... you will probably have to 'save as' onto your computer then print, or print directly from what appears when you click on link: http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/lostfoundcollies.htmLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Various size multi pic group poster's now done and emailed to NE Co-ordinator's and other DL Co'ordinators.  Hopefully they will be available as a download on Facebook but not sure yet.  If anyone requires them please let us know by posting on here or emailing admin@doglost.co.uk and put in heading 'STOLEN WHIPPETS HD3'.  Wishing the family lots of luck and hope we see them reunited soon.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What an awful thing to happen again to this owner. Obviously being stolen for a reason-breeding. Everything crossed for a quick return.
No wonder my friends have had me tattoo all their Whippets.

Timmy was stolen along with two Whippet bitches Jill and Alice (ID 21276 and 21277). Jill had been stolen once before with another dog. Jill was found in Rochdale 2 years after she had been stolen but the other dog which was an elderly and sick 14 year old was never found. It is thought the same people may have returned to steal the dogs. The police have tracked their footsteps in the snow and its is clear they have walked some distance across field to steal the dogs and that from the footprints 4 people were involved ! A crime number has been issued by the police and a reward is offered by the owners. I have advised Timmys' owners to inform dog wardens and stray kennels both locally and further afield and if possible visit local ones. Timmys owners are trying to find a photo of him and Alice for us but they are both VERY similar to Jill ID 21276. Hoping to see all three dogs back home very soon. PLEASE KEEP A LOOKOUT FOR THEM IN YOUR AREA ! ~ PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
