Thanks Keeley for the update and great you would like to carry on and help other owners in the same position you have been in.  You are now included in the list for emailing out of posters etc.  Reunited photo recieved last night, tried to lighten it but still a bit dark.  So nice to see Billy back where he belongs in the arms of his mum.  If you need any more details re Chipping/Neutering drop me an email or text.  Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi i would like to say a big thank you for all your help and a BIG thankyou to Jan too. I just can't believe billy is home he was only a 5 minute walk from my house. i was starting to lose hope after 8 days but to my shock i got a phone call to say he has been spotted on moorcroft road i had to run on icy pavements crawl through bushes it was a nightmare but turned into a dream as billy just walked up to me and licked my hand in the bushes where i think he may have sheltering he is very skinny but recovering nicely.  Thankyou again anything i can do in the future to help please let me know. keeley x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to Keeley earlier today for an update.  When Billy first went into the house their other dog was not accepting him, I did give her some advice on what to do when we first spoke yesterday.  They have settled down now and he is being accepted, which is such a relief.  Keeley will hopefully get a reunited photo to us a.s.a.p.   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

16.05 p.m.  WOO HOO he is HOME.  Keeley had a phone call of a sighting about 20 mins ago, they rushed over to the area and they found him.  'THANK YOU' to the caller and everyone else who has helped search for him.  The family are over the moon.  Keeley will update us later when she has come down from cloud nine.  Keeley give him an extra big hug from everyone on DL you have been doing a brilliant job and when you are able to get him Chipped and Neutered that will be the best Christmas present he can have.  Well done for getting the posters out and checking MDH.  Great to be moving Billy into the blue, welcome home.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

12.15 p.m.  Good luck Keeley, fingers crossed he has been picked up and is in Manchester Dog's Home.  Nice to speak to you earlier this morning you are doing a fab job.  As discussed would be great if you could check Manchester DH to see if you can find out what happened to the BC found in BL7, I've had no luck getting through on the phone and only limited to being able to ring. The last sightings of Billy were 1.00 a.m. and 5.00 a.m. not p.m. as previously posted.  There has been nothing since then so hopefully he has been picked up.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

To far away to help. Looking at the area, very near to Wythenshawe Park. Might be worth dropping a few posters off at the running track, Supposed to be a 5 mile run there on sat. Obviously hope Billy is home before.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

22.30 hrs.  Spoken to owner now, who has not long got in (well done you are doing brilliantly).  Over 250 posters have been done and due to this the sightings have been coming in he has been seen on Sale Road and Moorcroft Road which is approx 5 mins from his home.  I've gone through scenting and how to react if he is seen.  Another relative has also seen him and he ran away from them.  Owner has been taking their older dog and he has been scenting the area and showing interest in particular places where Billy may possibly have been.  Owner does not have direct Internet Access but has the use of a family members Internet where they will be able to pick up their emails.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Possible sighting. 20.20 p.m.  Spoken to family for an update, they have had a couple of phone calls of a dog matching Billy's description sighted running after a white dog, owner is out searching at the moment so I do not have full details as to the area etc.  As Billy is not neutered this could perhaps be a bitch he is running around with.  Will update if I catch up with his owner later this evening.  Various size posters and details are ready for emailing out to rescues/helpers etc.  Really hope this is Billy.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Billy went missing from home with owner's older dog who later returned and Billy didn't.  Family have been doing the right things, I'v given them further advice of who to contact and what to do.  Posters have started getting put up and they are going to do door to door.  I will email usual info/advice to owner later when home from work.  Fingers crossed he is found soon   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
