Unfortunatly this liitle man in camarthenshire wasnt Jack,Owners drove to wales yesterday to see him,he was so similar,such a shame...the search continues.please keep your eyes peeled.Thanks

Thank you Poochpal for info...Jack NOT neutered. Will see if I can contact Animal Aid 1990 on the web. I see he was listed on NPR...will try to see this also.......I guess MAB lane is in Dorset? Thanks  SB

Sorry, I cannot remember if Jack is nrutered? This is an add on NPR Male Yorkshire Terrier found on Mab Lane field yesterday afternoon. No collar. Not neutered.
He looks well fed and has recently had his fringe trimmed.
Black and tan with protruding ears.
Teeth in quite bad condition.
He is now being kept in kennels at Animal Aid 1990.
If his owner does not come forward within 7 days we will put the animal up for adoption.

This is a good photo, realy difficult to mach with similar ones. Just wish there was some news soon. Hopefully whoever may have him will take him to a vet and his chip will show, allowing him to return home.

I think its quite likely he will get emergency boarding, but they rely on funds and donations to pay for this,or they rely on finding a rescue space ,the emergency boarding is for while they are waiting  for a rescue space, if you go on rochdale website,it says "Good rescue spaces are not easy to come by and you can help by informing us of a rescue that fits this criteria and that may help". hope that answers your question ellejay,by the way ive just looked and hes been found a rescue place :o)

Just a question, why is the yorkie from the rochdale site being put to sleep on dec 31st if not rehomed ?? I understand they do this in pounds up and down the country and it really upsets me, but why can this yorkie not be given over to the Yorkshire terrier rescue site where a fosterer will look after it till a new owner is found ???
There is tons of people on there looking for a yorkie to rehome, every day people are registering on that site looking for a yorkie, seems totally senceless to poor this poor dog to  sleep for nothing.
as with all the hundreds of other breeds around.

Email in Admin, photo received uploaded and details updated: Hello everyone,   Hope you all had a good christmas and will have a prosperous new year.   I have sorted through thousands of digital images and found this one of Jack which is typical even though taken in March 2007. Can you mount it on your site for me..his number is 20997...thank you.   His coat was long and his tail well feathered when he went missing also he keeps his hair well over his eyes and this and top of head are blonder than show in photo.  Incidentally vet removed a number of teeth 7 or 9 in total.   Thank you all for you continuing efforts.   Great we can now see what little Jack looks like.  Thanks shereen for looking out for him.  Hope he is found soon and reunited back home with his family.  Good luck.  Jan x

http://www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com/urgentdogs.html this yorkie has an unclipped coat which is starting to matt, it is URGENT that the owner sees this dog asap as if a rescue place is not secured then he will be pts 31st dec!!! Hes at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for puting this on, I will check that Jack'owners have seen it. There was also a very similar one in Leicester but unfortunately the chip number did not match. He is now with the RSPCA.

I have just spoken to the owner and will email advice to them. Dog warden and petlog aware. Due to a recent incident they feel that he may have been taken so I have advised they report this incident to the police. Please can any local helpers help with postering.
