I have a greyhound X and also a lurcher.  I suggest you might try walking another greyhound/lurcher in the area - these dogs relate so well to others of their own type and it might just tempt the stray to join you?  I wish you lots of luck in catching this poor dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

report given of a dog seen in Offham village Jane: There is a cream coloured dog greyhound roaming around the village, obviously very lost and ’searching’. First seen on Monday evening dodging around the evening traffic.  A resident nearly managed to catch it but it got away. Today I saw it again around 1pm in Offham village but haven’t been able to locate it since.  (Poor thing out in this weather) This only for your information in case you know it is a Lost Dog. Otherwise I am suspicious of it being abandoned. Regards,   I have alerted dog warden and locals will try to establish a feeding station to keep dog in one area. They will try to get a picture to me if possible next time sighted.    have sent links to possible lost & stolen ones but no matches. It is thought it may be a male.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
