I understand there is still no news on this girl, which is so sad, I think about her a lot and so wish she could be found safe and well.

Had a text from Chino's owner today. She is still missing. There have been no sightings for 3 weeks now. Trap is being used to try and catch her but no luck so far She was last sighted at Leverton Ings and then on the 'gride'.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is really strange, I do so hope this dog is safe, why do the owners not keep in touch,I would be on standby 24/7 waiting for news, if this dog has been found surely they would let you know, did they not give a telephone number?? I hope they have not abandoned the idea of finding her, I would never give up, this dog is close to my heart as I had two for 16yrs, they were my soul babies, thanks for letting us know,I hope you hear from them soon.

Thanks for the update, I wonder why the owners are not giving any feedback, poor little soul,I wish I could find it, I'd sneak her back here with me,they have to be watched all the time as they are known escape artists and can even climb tree's. and must never be let of lead as they will run and run, come home safely little shiba.please let us know if you get any info.

Hi, is there any news on the Shiba, it has been a while now, I hope it is safe, this area is hunting country, and they look so much like foxes, has anyone informed the farmers in the area.

200 sq miles does seem a bit excessive, I hope he has his facts right or people will not know where to look, I am surprised the dog warden has not been able to come up with a plan, I wish I were nearer I would be there to help scour the area, can the owners not get a group together that can go and search, these dogs are so timid and scared.

I have had a text from owner to say that she has been spotted on several occassions running in an area of 200 square miles. Seems a bit excessive to me but that is what he has said.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi is there any news on this Shiba, as a previous owner of two of this breed I know that can and will run scared, and my can they run, I hope the poor little mite will be found safe and sound soon, has anyone tried cage traps, but then again I think a Shiba would be very wary of any enclosed space.

00.10 a.m. Photo and email received in Admin. Hi,   Please find attached an image of our lost dog "CHINO"  ID 20834.   We are getting plenty of sighting reports in the Old Leake area but as yet no one has closer than a cabbage field to her.   Thanks for all your efforts so far and I'm sure its only a matter of time before we get her back.   Many thanks     Ashmark I will try and do the posters later today for you but I am in work at the moment.  I've sent you an email.  Fingers crossed the lovely Chino is found soon.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just spoken to owner. Chino managed to escape from the garden and has been spotted several times running in the fields between Wrangle and Boston. Photo is being emailed to HO and owner would really appreciate it if poster and flyers could be emailed to him.  Dog warden is aware and Lincs FM have put out an appeal.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
