What a great result. If only dogs could talk. Squidge could tell us how he got to be 20 miles away, and who took him there. So glad to see him home again.

I'm very very happy to move this little guy to the blue!  He was found today over 20 miles from home.  He's been bathed and somebody has attempted to strip his coat but only done some of his face.  He was very pleased to see his mum when she got home from work today!  Welcome home Squidge! x

10:25 Just called owner for update but possibly on the phone,  I know they are going to try the local papers for next week if he's not home,  also had an email via a dog walking group I'm with that originated from our local dog warden so the word is getting out about Squidge.  I hope we get some good news soon. x

Not sure,  tried to call last night but think they were all out looking,  I've left a message and will try them again today.  Local papers are delivered on Wednesdays here so will see if we can get him in for next week if he's not home by then.

Squidge is a lucky boy to have such proactive family, they are in quite a difficult area to cover but they have some great contacts and are definately using them,  posters going up and around as I type.  All local pubs, shops, vets on the lookout,  fields around house being walked and searched regularly.  They are right on the border of three different counties and have notified DW's in Huntingdon, Bedford and Northampton.  They are working so hard for Squidge, I hope this poor little chap finds his way home soon! x

Various size posters now done as requested by Hazel as she has not had time to do them.  Posters emailed to Aunt Katie and Hazel.  Photo/s also swopped over in the Image boxes.  Hope we see little Squidge in the blue soon.  Good luck.  Jan x

Katie I've cropped and re-loaded the photos for you, but think maybe the pics should be swapped over, as difficult to see its a dachshund in sitting down shot. Will try to do flyers tonight if I can.

Just spoken to owner.  The house has been burgled and when owner came home the front door was open.  The the other dog was still there but Squidge was gone.  Owner and family done brilliant job already police, dog warden and Woodgreen all notified,  local shops, blacksmith all on the look out for him.   Emailed information which owner will receive at work tomorrow.
