well it's been 2 weeks now since Pippa went awol and still no sign of her! me and my family have been all over the area looking for her but to no avail ! ive put up loads of posters all over the area and spread the word through friends and work mates. we continue to call springfield and barc every day and a few other vets and kennels in the hope that she has been brought in! I will not give up on the search for my little girl ! I will find her if it is the last thing i do! i miss her so much it's too quiet in my house without her :-( . Thank you to everyone who has kept a look out for Pippa.
Jason.

Jason I am sorry the found dog was'nt your lovely Pippa but as you can see we are looking our for her and will always continue to do so until she is back with you again. How are you doing with postering ? I was wondering today if you have done any door to door calling in your local area ? Either just knocking on doors and showing her poster or making up smaller flyers and posting them through doors. We could come over and help you do this during the week. Knowing what you have told me about her being such a friendly girl  it could well be that she is being kept in  someones house not so far from you ! I saw her poster in Pets at Home on Friday and it still in a prominent position! I will give you another call on Monday x PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If you cant get in touch with the person who originally posted about the dog-i cant imagine there are many vets to ring around in Wortley as it is only a small village.

Jason thankyou for sending in the photo and what a lovely girl she is!  I will try to contact you again tomorrow and will pass her details on to our friends at South Yorkshire Lost and Found in case you havent already done so.  It would be helpful to have more details of the general area Pippa went missing from. Have you notified our dog warden, vets and contacted the Stray kennels for Barnsley which are Springfield Kennels, Ossett. (01924 271028) ? Although she is microchipped  this can sometimes be missed. By law dogs only  have to be kept for 7 day before the kennels can rehome or send dogs on to a rescue and for this reason it is VITAL you keep checking with them. Please poster as much as you can as she may well have been taken in by someone who doesnt know they should report to the dogwarden or get her checked for a chip.~ PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photos received in admin and uploaded J.  The main one looks a bit distorted on the thumbnail but when the poster opens up its ok. Its caused by the photo being cropped in such a thin rectangle shape. If you wish you send in the original uncropped, or at least cropped square, I will re-load. Good luck with Pippa - she is gorgeous. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Pam i have sent you 2 pictures of Pippa i hope they are ok they are from last year as the latest ones are blurred cos she never sits still long enough for me to take a picture of her ! I hope they help in the search for my little girl.
She escaped out of my back garden through a small hole in the fence she had a tether on but it looks like the spring has broken and it has released the clip and she became free! She loves kids and loves playing with balls even more so if any kids were out playing in the backs with a ball then she would have been off like a shot to play with the ball ! ive asked some kids if they have seen her but they havent. I have posted posters in several places around my area today but not had any contacts as yet.
Thank you for your help. Jason.

I am so sorry that Pippa is missing and thankyou for registering her on doglost. If you have not already done so please ring the dog warden as soon as possible tomorrow. Also inform SPRINGFIELD Kennels at Ossett  ( 01924 271028) which is where Barnsley strays should be taken. Please email a photo of Pippa into us at admin@doglost.co.uk. Also  poster as much as you can to raise the maximum public awareness possible. Hoping to see this girl home very soon will call owners tomorrow morning as far too late now  x PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
