Nat - so very pleased to hear that you have your gorgeous boy back. You so deserve this as you worked so hard. For those that dont know, Snoop was being kept by a lad that did not intend giving him back, but someone saw a poster, and knew where he was, and it all went from there. This is the importance onece again of never giving up - of keep going, keep postering, and keep getting as much publicity as you can, because enough photos out there, and eventualy someone will come forward who knows something. I am so very pleased that you got Snoop home with you for Christmas. Welcome home Snoop, and cant wait for the reunited pics. Part of Nats email today : - apart from being thin he is fine, its amazing how much he has grown!!!
he and my son have been inseperable, and he hjas been eating loads, including custard cream biscuits that my son insists that he needs as he was a brave puppy!!!

Pleased to hear it Nat, and brilliant idea about the traffic wardens. Dont forget to look, or get someone else to look on websites that are selling dogs, and try to get some decent media coverage, in local and county papers. Then when its in, email or text me, and I will bump him to the top for extra coverage, and publicity. Someone knows something. have you done all the pets shops and animal feed stores? thank you for all your comments and suggestions, we are still putting up posters and have ran down more than one dog in the park, only to find it isnt him, but we keep going, we have also given a small laminated copy of him to all the traffic wardens, as they are wandering around all day, fingers crossed xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Nat you are doing brilliant work in your search for Snoop.  Great getting him in the paper with a photo and you have had people contacting you, that means more eyes looking out for him.  You are going to have good and bad days.  It can very often take a few weeks for someone to recognise him as a new dog in their area, you have got keep his face seen in as many places you can.  Thinking of you and your little boy.  Jan x   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is a very similar dog to this at lostdogsyorkshire.com West Yorkshire Strays. Not quite sure about the white chest, and the days don't quite tie up. But I'd check it out if I had lost my dog xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm watching this Nat, and keep calling in. You are doing a great job now - Come on - keep going - YOU WILL get info eventually. Very very well done for all your hard work. Re-view the sheets, and the suggestions I sent, and see if there is anything you have missed and should be doing. Dont forget to check with all dogwardens and shelters, thats your own council, and adjoining ones for starters. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

i have had a lot of texts regarding the piece in the paper showing sympathy and support and it felt good to know that people are looking at the article and the posterrs too. i had a call suggesting somewhere that he`may have been, and honestly the likeness was uncanny but alas it wasnt Snoop, i felt destroyed all over again after having got my hopes up, im still trying to have faith that we will see him again, more posters going up in surrounding towns a bit further afield tomorowLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Jan, and well done Nat - you and your little man are doing a great job. Thats it  - dont waste any daylight hours. It will always be the very last poster (that was sooooo hard to post, as it was such a big hill to climb) that brings your dog home, cos that will be the one that the finder sees. Go girl, and little man !! Snoops cant find you, so you two have to find Snoops xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi natalie ! Well done, and thank you for registering. That will be really handy now to keep in touch. Great the posties are helping with some flyers and you are getting loads of posters out there. Have you thought of the schools? Children love dogs and will look out for a dog if you poster by the gates and along the routes they walk. Also parents will see posters by school gates. Community halls are good, pet shops and animal feed stores, markets - good to hand out flyers here, and boot sales. Also train stations, bus stations and supermarkets good for handing out the small fliers. Hopefuly the pubs have been done, as they are very important. Keep going, and DO try the papers now. You may be able to find out who delivers the freebie rags and give flyers to them for delivery too, or newsagents? worth asking. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have heard back from owner and given more advice. Snoop is about six months old, he is tan all over with a white chest, he has 2 areas of distended fur on  back & rear rght leg. A crime number has been issued.
Local dog warden in surrounding area informed, and most of the vet surgeries have been called with a description of him.  RSPCA have been notified, and he has been put on as missing on facebook. Thank you for all your help and advice, unfortunately I  dont have a photo of him stood uprightLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
