Have pleasure in moving Butch into the blue, he is now back home with his happy family who are over the moon to get him back.  Hopefully they will update us shortly and a reunited photo will be uploaded.  A big welcome home Butch and a special THANK YOU to lara-ra-ra for spotting him and to the Wirral Pound for putting found dogs pics on their site so quickly, wish all pounds/rescues were able to do this.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Soken to owner, nail bighting time waiting for their computer to load up, went through with them to get page on the Pound site and also emailed the link.  It surely does look like Butch, waiting game now until tomorrow now as Pound does not open of a weekend to the public.  Owner thought I was referring to a dog the Pound had contacted them about, I kept stressing they need to look as it sure does look like Butch.  Well done again Lara-ra-ra for taking the time to check and contact us.   Have advised they get Butch Chipped before picking him up if it is him.  Will email the pound again and alert them to Butch, poster was sent on 11.10.09.  Good luck and fingers crossed for tomorrow. This Staffie has been picked up not far from owners and they did do postering in the area and also door to door. Owner would like to pass on their thanks.  Jan  x BUMPED due to possible match. Thanks joolia for posting on Buster's page greatly appreciated.   Leigh C&D Home have been emailed a poster and do display them on the wall and also check against dogs in the kennels.  It is advisable that Buster's owner visit kennels in person especially with his breed; rescue kennels always have a lot of staffies.  Spoken to family for an update, Buster is still missing they have contacted DW and kennels by phone but not actually called into any kennels.  They have been unable to print any posters due to printer problems.  Stressed the importance of trying to actually visit kennels in person.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Email received from DL helper: Hi...I know this area very well having lived there before and i will get my partner to take me for look around in about an hour when he is home from work as we only live 15 minutes away now.  Also if you could e-mail me the posters I could pass some around and ask my family also to pass them around as I know a lot of people from the area in which Butch went missing.I could also put a picture on my facebook page as a lot of my friends from the area are on my Facebook, if that would be at all beneficial. Hopefully the dog wardens might have picked him up.  Please do let me know what I can do to help reunite Butch with his owners. Thank you for the email and offering to help in the search this is greatly appreciated, posters have been emailed to you.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Various size posters done and email to owner with further advice/info and contact numbers.  Posters and info emailed to Rescues, RSPCA's etc, DL helpers and Co-ordinator Goldenfrodo.  If anyone is able to help with the postering and spread the word please let us know and posters can be emailed to you. Thanks.  Fingers crossed Butch is found soon once the posters start getting circulated his family will may get the phone call they are waiting for.  He could have been picked up and when the Council offices open his owners may find out where he is.  Good luck.  Jan x    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner and given some advice.  Butch went missing from their home approx 5.00 p.m. last night (10.10.09).  He is very friendly.  Owner does not have a mobile phone to put on the posters, they are going to do house to house postering.  As soon as various size posters have been done I'll email them along with further advice/info etc.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
