So glad to see Tombi home , please get her chip in case, unfortunatly this awful situation should happen again also you can mention to the chip co she has Epilepsy and then that will go on her records then she should get the help she needs if picked up.
Hope she will be well soon xxx

(message from owners)   Very happy and relieved to report that she is back home. Mike found her up the lane, she wouldn't come to him, so he phoned me to bring some food and her meds up. I ran up and we swopped over, so he went home to babysit and I tried to coax her out of the hedge.
I could hear her pacing up and down but she wouldn't come out, even for food Shocked I was really fearing she had lost it completely. So, after 20 mins of calling and coaxing I shouted at her 'Tombi, COME HERE!'... and she came crawling out! Gobbled her food and followed me home.
She seems ok, usual story after a fit - bit dopey, but she is wagging her tail and being all soppy. The food has definitely helped.
I can't tell you how relieved I am. Back up to full meds!!!

missing approx 7pm monday 5th october 2009 (message from owners) we lowered Tombi's epilepsy meds since she hadn't had a fit in 8 months or so. Well, she had one tonight. And she has jumped the back fence (which she has never done before) and escaped and we can't find her.
I'm terrified she is lying somewhere fitting or has come to some kind of harm.   out looking with neighbours.   more info when owners have been in touch  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres?local council stray dogs holding kennel give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars.., If you can go down there each day to check for your dog that is the best thing as they only have to hold a dog for 7 days before it can legally be rehomed or in some cases destroyed. It is also worth contacting the local police as if someone has found your dog they may well have contacted them.
email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo please if you haven?t already.
You can only print posters when you are signed in.
Get postering now?..as quickly and as many as you can physically manage. make sure you offer a reward on the posters.
POSTER POSTER POSTER!!!?I cannot emphasize how important this is, from the posters you will get sightings and lots of extra pairs of eyes looking out for your dog.
Poster bus stops, train stations, supermarket/retail park car parks, pet shops petrol stations, lay by snack vans, service stations, bins, poo bins, shopping centres, take away outlets, pubs, lamposts, caf?s, leisure centre?s,??.basically anywhere people go you need to poster like mad so nobody misses them? ask in as many places as you can if they will display a poster for you.
Tell postman and binmen and give them a poster so they have your phone no handy? infact tell every single person you meet while searching as the more people know the much better chance of getting your dog back quickly.
Contact the local newspaper and radio stations? take out an advert with a photo in the papers pets section lost and found and make sure you offer a reward!.
If you believe your dog has been stolen then it is very important you contact the police for a crime reference number?. And the postering publicity should have the aim of not only getting your dog home but making it too hot to handle.   Good luck xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
