- Thanks for that. I live in Camblesforth not too far away from your son and someone in this village has been walking a dog similar to a saluki lurcher type with a bit of a feathering on the end of the tail. This dog which is very rough haired or was by the looks of it has been shaved as you can see all its ribs. He hangs around with some travelling people who are always getting different dogs and then they disappear. Will keep my eye open for the dog again and try to get a closer look especially the paw.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

passed the message onto my son, as Sam is his dog, and he said Sam would does not have a feathery tail like a saluki. He did say however, that Sam has a white bib, and a white back toe. Hope this helps.
