When my Bubbles was lost in the country miles from home she had an area of about a mile and a quarter that she used to run in. She was trapped in the end with the help of a lady who works for the vet and local residents.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi , with the owner being away , i dont actually know what wood he went missing in ! Spoken another vet nurse today who said owner has been out looking and also been around all the farms, apprently if he has run a distance he could actually get to neath and swansea valley through the farms!! We wonder if its poss he may have gone down a hole, as the two of the dogs were together when they ran off playing !!!Owner away for fortnight so any sigthings will need to be emailed to me,    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have done a lot of walking in the woods around Gilfach Goch. They are extensive and rather wild, and it may be that he has simply got lost. You need to contact all the farms around where he went missing, and get posters up where people going into the woods will see them. Get one up at Cwm Dimbath (sp?) as well because people often park there and enter the woodland from that end. Take his brother to lay a scent trail when you are looking for him. And poster, poster, poster.

Have emailed one of the nurses who work with owner and she says owner is away on hol's at moment . Freddie is a gsd x and owner has brother from litter before fred's who is more gsd type although still black and white I have emailed some vets around the area where he was lost and have emailed dog rescues in the area.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Beth has registered Freddie on DL on behalf of his owner as they do not have Internet access.  I will try and speak to his owner and email further advice/info etc and an A4 poster to Beth.  I think if he has been picked up by a Rescue etc they would not have him down as being crossed with a GSD going by his pic he looks like a full BC.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
