Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
I rang owner to be told Steve is back home. Fabulous news !!!   The little monkey had taken himself off for a swim at the beach !!!   Owners were out searching ( but unfortunately, at the next beach along) and around the area until 2 am after he went missing.   Thankfully he had been picked up and taken into the kennels at Cleadon.  Owners went to check there at 5am and were told a spaniel had been brought in. They had to wait until 9 am for it to be verified that it was Steve. However, the chip showed the previous owners details  Thankfullly owners did check and see for themselves and not just turn away !!   The current owners got Steve from a rescue and were informed that he was chipped to them so have recommended they contact the rescue kennels & vet where he was chipped to check it and ensure the details are updated. At that point the conversation was cut short as Steve had just run off with a chicken bone which owner had to try get off him   lol Welcome home Steve Helen xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry Steve has gone missing.Thank you for registering with DogLost. Your poster can be printed from his page by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 on the left hand side above the dogs details box. Please send a photo to Admin as soon as possible.  Please get as many posters up as you can, immediately, and inform all authorities, Dog Warden, Rescues, Police, and vets  in case he has been picked up. It is important that you check with your local pounds every day, as dogs can be rehomed after seven days if not claimed. Its best to visit and not just rely on phone calls. Good luck and hope he's home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
