I am so sorry for your loss, it had crossed my mind about the canal, but i prayed he would be found safe. At least you can have an end and not left with never knowing what happened to him. Thinking of you as you come to terms with the loss of your beloved boy. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor wee man. I am so very sorry to see this news. God bless him xx They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I’d walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
A family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just had the very sad news from Buster's owner that his body surfaced this morning in the canal. This had been my worst fear. My thoughts are with you Ellen and also with dear Buster. Run free at Rainbow Bridge lovely boy xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

have spoken to owners and no news of Buster at all. They have been checking with Barnsley and Rotherham dog wardens and also visited local stray kennels. I have reminded them that we need a photo of Buster xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Buster was walking with his owners and another dog at around 1.30 pm on Sunday 7th June when he vanished. They immediately searched for him and have been going back but no sign of this elderly boy. Hoping for some news of Buster very soon xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
