Rang owner for an update, spoke to a relative Ned is still missing. Weird coincidence the owners other dog had gone missing yesterday and the relative thought I was ringing about that one, thankfully this dog returned today. Jan xxx

I WONDERED WHICH AREA THE MASS MAILING HAD COVERED? HAS THERE BEEN ANY SIGHTINGS , IF SO WHERE- AS I GOT A PHONE CALL TONIGHT FROM A LADY WHO SAW WHAT SHE THOUGHT WAS A POINTER RUNNING LOOSE ON THE A46 NEAR (1 MILE FROM) MARKET RASEN. SHE SAID THE DOG WAS IN A 'POINTING' STANCE. AS MY DOG SHAMUS CANNOT POINT DUE TO HIS ACCIDENT IT WILL NOT BE HIM. SHE HAS INFORMED THE LOCAL POLICE, AND IT HAS BEEN ON HER LOCAL RADIO STATION. YOU COULD CONTACT THE POINTER CLUB, AS THEY HAVE A NEWSLETTER, AND YOU NED HAS DISTINCTIVE FACIAL MARKINGS, OTHER POINTER OWNERS MIGHT SPOT HIM. BEST OF LUCK, LOUISE

I always look out for orange and white pointers, I used to own one so if I see one I always go up and talk to owners. If he turns up anywhere near me I will spot him a mile off. Eris

I HAD MY POINTER STOLEN IN PENRITH, CUMBRIA ON 15/8/04. I AM NOW SEARCHING THE ENTIRE UK FOR HIM. SHAMUS IS ORANGE AND WHITE BUT DISABLED DUE TO A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT. I WILL LOOK OUT FOR NED, BEST WISHES, LOUISE
