Thanks Debbie for the update and nice to speak to you this afternoon, as I said I had to go out and have not long got back in.  Well done for all you have done and to the excellent DW, this lovely boy has been so so lucky to find a home, a lot of older dogs get overlooked when in rescue.  Thank you to his new owners for giving him a chance and wish you all a very happy future, good luck.  Can now move him into the BLUE where he belongs.  Jan x

There seems to be catologue of unfortunate circumstances surrounding this old chap. Hopefully Chel if it is your dog you know where he is and that he is  being looked after.

UPDATE : This dog was caught by the dog warden and re-homed via Hyndburn Stray Dogs in Need. No owner was found. He was not microchipped or wearing a collar.

This boy has gone through DW and pound. Have bumped up so finder can find his details, to post an update a.s.a.p.   Jan x

Tried to contact his finder, no reply maybe in work, have had a text back to say he has been rehomed and owner not found, waiting for further details.  Finder has advertised him on various sites and done an excellent job trying to find his owners.  Jan x

 thanks 4 your replie. no i didnt report it. i have a picture of the dog that i used 2 have and they look very similar apart from the picture i have is of him is at a young age. he would be about 10-13 years of age now.

Chel sorry your boy went missing from your friends family and the sad circumstances.  When about did he go missing and was he reported to the DW?  He could well have gone through a rescue and be rehomed after 7 days.  I'll try and contact finder to see where this found boy is.  Jan x

do u know roughly how old this dog is? i had a dog smillar 2 this one. i gave him 2 a close friend of mine as i was havein a baby. my friend passed away and the dog stayed in his family. they promised me that if they didnt want the dog anymore that they would give him back to me as i dont like seein dogs going home to home. then one day i asked how the dog was and they just said that he had ran off. they didnt try 2 find him whice i am not happy about. i would really like 2 find him as it is driveing me mad not knowing where he is.

Just had a message from Alfies Lost dogs and someone who has lost similar dog thinks it could be his and is going to contact finder. Lets hope its a good outcome and this lad is going home to his Dad.
