right then, myself and old grey man met molly chops at the airfield. i have a friend who works there so will contact her in a minute to tell her what is happening. we then postered the out lying areas.. poster houses cars and pubs... then went to the old foss way where the track runs... there is now lilac ribbon tied to the entrance on a tree and also lilac ribbon tied on trees at the exact spot where the dog was sited... as light was fadeing we didnt go all the way to the end of the track but made our way back and put up posters also gave some in tetbury and somerfields. i gave one to someone beacuse she had a dog and it turned out she was a veterinary nurse in that area and would put some up in the surgery, also a lady had reported to her that she had seen a black lab type on its own a few days ago, that she could not catch and it growled at ther, which this injured dog also did. she is going to ring this lady for more information and ring molly chops.. if there is anyone else who wants to go to this area just follow the lilac ribbon from the whilshire sign so you will now all know which direction we are talking about. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

postered in the village of Kemble, then on to the Air field, where the guard on duty told me of a sighting of a black Labrador just down the road from his guard house,at around 2 pm this afternoon.  He then very kindly drove me all over the air base, but couldnt see anything.  The fosse way track comes out at Kemble so this wouldnt have been far to ccome if this was our dog. Met up with Old Grey Man and Flaggbag[Thanks Girls!] We then studied our maps and decided to split up and poster. I went on to do Crudwell , The hotel, School, and gave posters away to people doing their gardens, then on toChedglow postered there, then Ashley and back to Kemble met various farmers who would look out for this dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Judys Mum
Have been along the Fosse Way today from Kemble to Sherston (green lane so public access and passable by cars but one water crossing needs a 4x4).  No sign though.  Left scenting and dog food near water crossing on track due south from Tetbury/Malmesbury A road.  Not touched for the hour I was away from it. Left some posters with property owners along the track.  The JR puppy doing well and not yet claimed.  They think it unlikely it will be claimed as tail is docked.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

have spoken with judys owner harriet who has gone over now to have a look, also have contacted many tears rescue foster co ordinator as i noticed they have a lot of fosters in that area and they may be able to help and keep their eyes and ears open. also am going to ask neighbour if he will go over on his scramble bike as he can go a long way down the track and have easy access... the little jack russell found in the same area with this dog is doing really well Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The dogs were apparantly dumped on the old fosseway a single track lane between Tetbury and Malmesbury, the terrier pup was taken by the DW but the old lab is still loose, he is in a bad way and needs to be found.  Im going to contact farmers and everyone I can think of in the area, vets, etc  and will try and get over tonight to poster, Flaggbag is going over today.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
