The dog was found in a residential garden in the Sutton Coldfield area and has gone to kennels for some TLC and a veterinary check-up. Really sad update from Birmingham council wardens πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ’”πŸ’”

“We do have an update but it's not good news we're afraid.

Our dog wardens took her to a local vet, where x-rays revealed she had a huge abdominal mass. Sadly - given her age, the trauma of surgery and poor prognosis for recovery - it was deemed kinder to put her to sleep.

This also highlights the need for all pet owners to take their animals for regular check ups particularly if there are any unusual symptoms (ie not eating, mobility issues) and to ensure that their dog’s microchip details are properly registered and the owners full details updated.”
