Wooo Hooo welcome home Ted.  What a coincidence being in the right place at the right time.  Well done to the DW and Police for following it up and to the DL Helper for alerting us.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Confirmed Ted is back today. Friend of the family was waiting to see her mother in hospital and started talking to a couple whose husband was being admitted for back surgery...she then said she had to go to look after the dog. Friend enquired what sort of dog she had and she said a poodle and that they had found him a few months ago. Friend asked if he had a scab on his head and the couple went very quiet. Dog warden and police were able to trace the couple via hospital records and Ted is now back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi
Just to let you know that it has been posted on agilitynet forum (not
by owner) that this dog has been found.  I can't verify this but it
might be worth a call to the owners  - it would be great if it's true!
Ted is a toy poodle that was taken from his owners van in their drive
in the Southampton area

Owner, sorry to see Ted has been stolen.  Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have supplied good clear photos of him.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering you need to MAKE HIM TOO HOT TO HANDLE.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered on DL and logged in).   Try and get some media coverage. Ensure you get a CRIME No from the Police? Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  He may well have been picked up and once the weekend is over his finder may report him to the right authorities and you get the call you are waiting for.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have posted details on several email groups and have asked them to crosspost to others.  I really hope he is found very soon indeed .. get posters in the pubs, streets everywhere .. good luck. I have also added Ted to our Valgrays site (as we are 'into' agility).  Ted is also now shown on agilitynet site too.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
