Rang owner again last night for update and to pass on a link for a boxer found along with a chocolate labrador. Champs owner followed it up and notified me in email that the owner (of both dogs) has been located --- so sadly it wasnt Champ   ----but will keep looking. Stay safe little man xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have been away but spoke to owner last Thursday. There had been no sightings/further info on Champ at all.  Owner has sent posters into the rescues listed and is checking the "for sale" sites. Hope this boy is found xx    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang owner ..  It is a rural area and it seems a blue van was seen in the nearby lane when Champ went missing and is possible that they had been "watched" whilst they were working.   Owner said he thinks there may have been a failed attempt to take Champ the previous day and possibly Champ was injured as he was limping.    It has been reported to the local police (but owners had a very negative response)  no crime no was given to them.  They have also contacted the local paper .  Owner said there was a shitzu also stolen in the area similar time. The breeder of Champ is aware and I have suggested asking them also to cross post posters and info to their contacts also.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've been to the Donkey Sanctuary at Liscarrol, Mallow,    It might be a good idea to ask them to take some posters to give out the visitors they get.  I'm sure they would as they seem brilliant people who work there . Please ask them !!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor Champ, the advice would be the same if here in the UK and that is to poster like mad print off 100's plaster the area have reward on but NOT advisable to put a value, get on the radio in the newspapers make Champ too hot to handle, call the Police this is theft!! and contact rescues, pounds and dog wardens so they know that Camp is missing as he may turn up there.
Very Good luck.xxx
