sory to see that millie hasnt been found yet, i have put a few posters up locally but havnt had much chance to get further afield yet this week, will be getting some to my sister tomorrow to put up at the college and anywhere else she visits in street during the day, and hope to get more up during the week. I have been keeping an eye out for her, scanning the local dog's for sale ads but i wondered sandra what are her body markings like? is it white or does she have other markings on her body. thank you HelenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Havent had any response so far from the local paper. Had a few false alarms from the Western Daily Press coverage. Millie is now with freeads.co.uk for the next 60 days listed as stolen. Lets see if I get a response from that.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Sandra, thank you for emailing me the posters, i hadnt noticed the one already on here. I will get postering in the next few days and over the weekend, I will email one to my sister also as she is at college in street and her and her friends are often in street town centre on a daily basis. Also reference visiting the travellers site there is also a travellers site at the shepton mallet roundabout, the little one just before you get to cannards grave, they have been there for a few weeks and have access to vehicles. Worth a try, also maybe if your that way the car wash at cannards grave may be a good place to put up a poster as it is always packed with people from all over somerset. i hope she is home soon! fLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi sandra, just a thought,  maybe a long shot but is there any cctv in the high street at street,( or near to where he thinks she was tied up ?) if this person thinks he has seen millie and she has been stolen,  and now police are interested maybe you could look over cctv ( with help of police?) to see if you can spot her on it. as i said just a thought but you never know, good luck and i hope you have news of dear millie soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I had a phone call this morning from a man who is living on the travellers site at the old Butleigh Hospital. I visited the site just after Millies disapearance and gave them posters.  He told me that he thought he saw Millie with another dog tied up outside the library in Street. This sighting was yesterday. The other dog was black but he didnt know the breed. He has my number stored in his phone now in case he spots her again.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Had a call from lady in Bristol who had seen millie in evening post news paper as missing. She had been to Bristol dogs home and thought she saw her there. I rang the home and for a few minutes honestly thought we had found her. The description fitted until we got to the tail colour. I emailed a pic of Millie just to make sure it wasnt her. STILL LOOKINGLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Millie is in the newspaper today. I have contacted our local paper The Central Somerset Gazette and it is possible they may run a story on her disapearance. Fingers crossed. Just waiting for them to get back to meLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Im really fed up with this now. Millie needs to be found and brought back to us. The newspaper has let me down. Her STOLEN ad will now not appear until Mon for 3 days. They agreed to give me next Sat too free as it was their fault. I had 1 call from a local lady who thought she saw Millie on the A39. After a phone call to a friend it was discovered that it was a local dog after bitches on heat.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As the police were not interested face to face I decided to log Millies disapearance on line. This has now proved to be a sucess as they have now given me a crime number.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
