- Thank you so much to doglost - what an incredible charity which will definitely be going on my donation list. Special thanks to lovely Sarah who was very calm and reassuring and kept my hopes up. Charlie was suspended on two front legs with his back leg caught in the fence. He’d had no water or food since Monday pm and by chance he heard me shouting across the field to the farmer, recognised my voice and squealed his head off until I got there - so glad to find him xx

- Charlie has been found alive caught in some fencing with a damaged leg so will be going to straight to the vets. We hope he has a speeedy recovery and stops jumping the fence!!

- Spent the day with Charlie's owners and explored the immediate area. At this stage thinking that Charlie may be injured or stuck so I need to get help to assist in finding him. Owners have been advised to tonight cook smelly food and try and draw Cherloe, if at all possible.

- Have made contact with the owner who is out following the sighting of Spaniel on West Quantoxhead and will be meeting with him tomorrow. Have asked for any ground searchers not to call Charlie or try to catch him. Have also advised that we gets home to leave out smellie food, such as, sardines and the oil to scent the area back home and draw Charlie out.

- Reports of a black spaniel running in west quantoxhead. Have asked sighter to call you. Is reported to have white on chest and Charlie’s isn’t that noticeable so may not be him but worth following up
