Assume no sightings? Cars usually don`t go further than a mike at most, so it maybe that he climbed into a vehicle, and is being fed where the sighting was? I would keep taking looks around that area, and poster around as well as posting flyers through doors too. All xd.

Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within especially if timid. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, and can squeeze into very small spaces about (2"/3") wide. So has he managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Check outbuildings numerous times as cats can stay very quiet, and still when trapped; they are renowned for it. Check trees; any decking too. Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put some sardines/tuna, or warm chicken in his dish, and call him. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) Take good walks around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention; just because you don`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Is there a dominant cat in the area? AS sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until they they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. When searching for Gizmo wear the same deodorant that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize he scent, and your the one he trusts. Albeit cat have a very strong sense of smell, and can pick up scent from quite a distance; always best to reinforce it. I think. Sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house. I have known this happen so keep vigilant. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Hope Gizmo will be reunited very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2022-01-13 21:16:49 by TrudielovesMax!
